CSAAE uncovers the bleak state of primary education across South East states

In a disheartening revelation, the Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics uncovered the bleak state of primary education across South East states from 2021 to 2023.

Employing the Universal Basic Education Standard, this comprehensive study carried out by 197 LGGM champions, assessed crucial aspects like classrooms, teacher availability, guidance and counseling, sanitation facilities, agriculture, sports, and quality, yielding an alarming truth – no state surpassed the average mark.

This damning report is a wake-up call, resonating with the stark realities faced by primary schools in the region. Dilapidated infrastructure, inadequate resources, and a glaring absence of essential facilities have created a daunting learning environment for the younger generation.

The plea is clear – it’s time for collective action. Stakeholders must unite with CSAAE to address this educational crisis. The urgency of the situation demands immediate attention, and only through collaborative efforts can we pave the way for a brighter future.
