CSAAE Advocates for Change!

Remember the case of Dominion Chisom Nwokedi?

At the tender age of 16 months, his innocence was brutally stolen on April 17th, 2023, when a bullet, fired by members of the National Security and Civil Defence Corps, claimed his life in the presence of grief-stricken parents at the Fire Service junction in Owerri.

In the face of this heart-wrenching incident, the Center for Social Awareness Advocacy and Ethics (CSAAE) stood as a beacon of hope. Despite the initial setback caused by a shortage of judicial officers at the Federal High Court in Owerri, CSAAE, fueled by a commitment to justice, relentlessly pressed forward.

Last week, on the 27th of February, a second chapter unfolded in their pursuit of justice.

Though the case was adjourned to the 21st of March, the recent assignment of judges to the Owerri Federal High Court breathed new life into the proceedings.

Undeterred, CSAAE remains resolute, ready to navigate the intricate web of the legal system to ensure that justice prevails for the innocent soul lost on that fateful day.
